Sam is the unofficial mascot of the Wyoming Union Building. Inspired by the real trouble making squirrels that reside in the courtyard of the building.

Sam was created to advertise some of the stores inside the Wyoming Union. Quickly became a fan favorite character and so was featured in most of the Wyoming Union marketing.
